Welcome to my blog!
My story begins in the small town of Whitby, Ontario, Canada where I was born and raised by awesome parents who immigrated from Guyana, South America. At the time of the launch of this blog, I am working in the Northeast as a physician on a H1B visa with the goal of eventually becoming a United States citizen.
With a lot of poking and prodding from my fiancé, and after numerous phone, email and text exchanges with people on a similar path in need of guidance, I decided to create a blog to share my story of how I am navigating U.S immigration as a foreign born/trained physician.
